Just to let you know that our w/e in Venice was absolutely wonderful. Gabriel
met us off the water bus at San Marco and showed us to the appartment. It was
exactly what I had hoped for - immaculate, warm, quiet and right in the middle
of Venice. There was a big bowl of fruit, an easter egg each, a pannetone and
a bottle of champagne in the fridge ! I thought they were a lovely touch, especially
the champagne as my twin sister and I were there to celebrate our birthday.
The weather on Saturday and Sunday was glorious sunshine - it was warm enough
to sit outside the cafes to eat lunch. Venice was even more beautiful then I
had expected. We didn't go to the Maya exhibition as it was such good weather
and there were long queues but we did hear some Vivaldi in a church near La
Fenice. The only worrying moment was when we missed the waterbus to the airport
on Monday because we sat in a cafe too long, we were so reluctant to leave Venice.
However it just meant we had a ride in a watertaxi. So thank you very much and
if I, or anyone I know, plans a trip to Italy we'll be in touch again. Claire

Many thanks for your assistance with our family trip to Venice and the Po River
cruise. Everything you arranged worked perfectly and was excellent. I wish I
could say the same for Paris (we did not take any part in it - editor note)
You may be sure I will recommend your website and your services to anyone who
is traveling to Venice, or who is considering a trip there.
For your information, the guide in Bologna was excellent. She took us to everything
tourists should see and to the town hall -- which I don't think many people
visit. She recommended a place for lunch and took us there, and left us plenty
of time for lunch, wandering and shopping.
The driver picked us up exactly on time. Although he did not have much English,
he took us on a little visit to the "secret river" and had us back to the M/S
Casanova on time.
You do not have any worries about using them in the future.
I enjoyed meeting Manuel, who was kind enough to offer his services to Jon,
Jenny and Butch (my stepson, stepdaughter and her husband) if the needed any
help during the additional day they spent in Venice.
I was impressed that Manuel is very careful and found us despite the fact that
the boat did not dock where I was told -- and told you -- on its return to Venice.
The gondolas and music were excellent and I greatly enjoyed the trip, my second
to Venice.
After leaving the boat we (my stepdaughter, her husband, my girlfriend and I)
rented a car at Piazzale Roma and drove to Paris, stopping for one night each
in Geneva, Freiburg im Bresigau and Nancy (my wife's name) along the way. Because
the Mont Blanc tunnel is closed, we left the autostrada at Aosta, where we looked
at the Roman remains and ate lunch. We used the Grand St. Bernard tunnel, and
had no problems reaching Geneva in time for dinner, although the roads in that
part of Switzerland are a bit challenging and we stopped many times for the
beautiful scenery.
I hope you enjoy your upcoming visit to Venice as much as we enjoyed our time
in Italy.

Thanks so much for arranging a wonderful tour of Venice for us. Our guide, Lara
(Laura?) was very knowledgeable and answered every one of our questions. She
took us in areas away from the majority of tourists and gave us a wealth of
history about Venice. When we rounded a corner and headed into St. Mark's Square,
I was amazed at all of the people. Lara had managed to show us Venice without
crowds of people. She was very patient, personable and always had a smile on
her face. She seems to really enjoy her job and enjoy people, and love her city.
We felt very fortunate to have had you choose her to guide us. When one of us
wanted to stop and buy something she was very helpful. Our snack was fun and
the gondola ride most memorable.
I will not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone traveling to your incredibly
beautiful city.

Everything went very well. All the tours were exellent. The guide for the private
art tour was very good. All the guests were impressed. Unfortunately there was
nothing anyone could do about the heat.

We returned back to school today after a week on half term, hence my not getting
in touch with you sooner.
We had an excellent day in Venice and everything went well. We were met my Alexander
(I think that is how you spell it!) who, as arranged met us from the airport
and took us to Venice. The trip was as described and all who went were very
impressed with the service, and of course the weather was good too.
Needless to say we would highly recommend your company and hopefully will use
it again.

Thank you for arranging transport from the San Marco Hotel to the airport this
morning...Sunday. It was extremely well organised. Manual was at the hotel at
4.30am and our water taxi was waiting for us, and on arrival at PZ Roma the
minibus was also waiting for us. We arrived at the airport with plenty of time
to spare. Manuel was a very efficient and courteous guide.
I realised when I returned to England that I had give Manuel 180 euros and not
185. If you would like to give me a name and address I will send you the five
euros.

Holidays in Venice was excellent. Your representatives were punctual, helpful
and very informative.
The apartment certainly lived up to my expectations (always slightly difficult
when booking over the internet); the location was ideal and the description
accurate. It is a charming and well appointed apartment. We made two suggestions
when we left, neither was a problem. The first was simply that the sliding door
to the balcony needed attention as it did not lock properly, the second was
simply that a full length mirror might be an advantage.
